Just A Thought
Mark 14: 51-52,
51 One young man following behind was clothed only in a long linen shirt. When the mob tried to grab him, 52 he slipped out of his shirt and ran away naked. Have you ever truly spent some time on this scripture? The other day I considered it, instead of overlooking it. Why did God want this passage in the Book? Could it well mean that we are clothed, sometimes in layers, trying to hide our sin? But there comes a time in our life that we must be stripped down naked and bare our sins to our Lord and repent. This man was in the garden observing or participating in the arrest of Jesus. Did he need to bare his sins to all?
